Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse, a country lodge provides excellent accommodation and dining for guests in a peaceful country atmosphere. Extensive farmlands and a 4000 hectare private nature reserve surround the farmhouse with a magnificent mountain range as a backdrop. Drive through the reserve past herds of zebra, eiland and springbok.
Wild Olive House and its adjoining cottage, separately sited from the main Farmhouse, provide a self- catering option where children are welcome. Wild Olive House provides two spacious double bedrooms and a bunk room for children as well as two family bathrooms.
The cottage has a double bedroom, bathroom and sitting room with private deck looking up to the Eilandskloof Mountains. The farmhouse style kitchen has been fully equipped with everything necessary for self-catering.
The extensive outdoor living areas include a leafy covered terrace, leading onto a private swimming pool. The cottage is surrounded by a Fynbos nature reserve and vast open stretches of farmland.
There is accommodation for up to six adults and two children. Guests can eat at Bartholomeus Klip by prior arrangement (babysitters can be provided for children).
The Deck House at the Farmhouse provides the ideal environment for a conference, wedding or special occasion and includes a comfortable lounge with a deck with spectacular views across the water and an intimate boma.
