We recommend The Silwood School of Cookery. Silwood is an internationally recognized Cordon Bleu school established 37 years ago. From its inception Silwood has produced graduates of international stature.
The students are friendly, professional, smartly dressed and are selected and placed according to each individual clients needs and specifications.
General Duties:
Flexible maximum 12-hour working day with breaks.
Menu planning.
Purchasing of groceries.
Preparation and serving of meals and snacks.
Kitchen management.
Costs:
The chef is paid directly by the client on a daily or weekly basis. The level of competency required determines the cost of the chef. Chefs will require cash to purchase groceries and will submit a cost breakdown with slips. A reasonable petrol allowance is also payable.
Silwood offers chefs on a weekly or daily basis.A placement cost of R600 is payable to Silwood Kitchens on booking.
Should you require a chef, please contact us and we will arrange for Silwood to provide you with the most suitable chef. We will interview her on your behalf and arrange for her to contact you. In order to place the right student, it will be necessary for you to let us know what you require in as much detail as possible. On the morning of your arrival, we suggest you arrange for the Chef to meet you at the house to discuss your further requirements, alternatively we can arrange this for you. We can also recommend other experienced qualified chefs if required.
